Finding You The Best Jobs in Accounting

I am always asked by graduates and experienced accountants alike, "how do i find the best jobs in accounting?"

To me this is always the wrong way to go about finding an accounting job. Once you have started down your career path, it's almost too late to think about finding the right job. Too many graduates take the first job that comes along without thinking about the long term consequences of working for that company.

The time to plan your career is right at the beginning. You may not know exactly what you want to do, but you should a pretty good idea about what you enjoy and what you're good at. Your career decisions should then all be based on achieving a pre-determined goal.

If you take the attitude that the right accounting job will come along at some time in the future then you are doing yourself a disservice.

Plannning os the key. The person who writes their goals down and follows a plan is the one who is going to get the best accounting jobs.
